Peas Pulao



Ingredients:

1 Basmati Rice 2 cup
2 Whole Garam masala 1/4 table spoon
3 Peas 1 cup
4 Sugar 1/ 4 cup
5 Salt to taste

6 Cashew pieces 1 table spoon
7 Raisins 1/ 4 tablespoon
8 Cumin Powder 1/ 4 tablespoon
9 Water 4 cup
10 Black Cardamom 2
11 Green Cardamom 2

Note:
 Whole Garam masala is the combination of cloves, cinnamon, bay leaf.
Preparation
  1. Add the ghee to the pressure cooker.Add crushed black and green cardamoms and whole garam masala.

  1. Add the rice and peas and mix well. Add cashew nut (kaju), raisins (kismis), sugar,salt, cumin powder mix all of the together.

  1. Add water and mix well. Cover the lid of the pressure cooker. Cook under pressure until there are 2 whistles turn off the heat.

  1. Open the lid of the pressure cooker. Mix the cook pulao with the ladly very lightly.

  1. Serve the pulao with any curry items or raita.
