Paneer Tikka


Ingredients:

13 Chat masala 1 tablespoon
14 Garam masala 1/4 tablespoon
15 Lemon juice 2 tablespoon
16 Kasturi methi 2 tablespoon
17 Turmeric powder 1/2 tablespoon
18 Red chili powder 1/4 tablespoon
19 Cumin Powder 1/2 tablespoon
20 Coriander Powder 1/2 tablespoon
21 Soya sauce 1/2 tablespoon
22 Tomato sauce 1/2 tablespoon
23 Salt to taste 1/2 tablespoon
24 Black pepper Pinch
25 Oil 3 tablespoon
26 Bamboo stick/BBQ skewer 4

Preparation:
  1. Mix all the dry powder - Tandoori masala, garam masala, chat masala, cumin powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, chili powder, black pepper, kasturi methi & salt.
  2. In a bowl add the yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, green chili paste, soya sauce, lemon juice, tomato sauce & add the mixture of dry powder, then mix well.

  1. Add oil and now add paneer (cottage cheese), Onion, all the bell peppers, tomato and mix thoroughly so the the paneer cubes are well coated with the masala mixture. Keep aside to marinate for 5-6 hour.




  1. Preheat the oven at 350°C for 10 min.
  2. Now thread the marinated paneer and all the vegetable cubes with little gap into skewers/bamboo stick and place in a baking tray. Before using the baking tray, brush it with oil.

  1. Place it in the over at 350°C for 20 min. Let it be in over for the 5 mins after switch off.
  2. Sprinkle little chat masala and lemon juice.




How to prepare without oven:
Follow the above steps from 1 to 3
  1. Use the nonstick wide pan with lid. Brush the pan with little oil, heat in medium flame.
  2. Place all the mix ingredients in the pan and cover the lid for the 10 mins.
  3. Cook it still it turns the golden brown colors, then turn all the ingredients to the reverse side and continue to cook (nearly 10 mins more) tills the color turns little brown.
  4. Before serve, sprinkle little chat masala and lemon juice.
