Note:
Whole Garam masala is the combination of cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, bay leaf.
Preparation:
- Take bowl add water (1/2 of that bowl)and boil water for sometime.It must be warm.Remove from frame and then add salt - 1/4 tbl spoon and mix it.Now add meal maker in that and mix it.It must become little soft until that press meal maker with hand. Now wash it in separate water.Then cut it into small pieces.

- Now take pan add 3 table spoons oil and heat it.Add meal maker in that and fry it until it change into light brown color and remove it.
- Now heat oil in a frying presser cooker, add whole garam masala, add little sugar to turn the slightly brown color, add the ground onion paste and saute till the onion paste looks darker in color .
- Then add garlic paste and saute them. Cook for another 15 min in medium flame.
- Add garlic paste and cook the masala more.Cook till the masala color changes to a darker shade. Add the soaked red.Chilli powder,Cumin Powder,Coriander Powder and mix well. Add 1 teaspoon Turmeric and stir well. Cook the masala till oil starts to leave the sides. You may add little water to the masala when stirring so that it does not stick to the bottom of the cooking pot. When masala is fully cooked.
- Add meal maker pieces and mix well. Cook with covered lid under medium flame.Meal maker will release a lot of water and cook with its own water. Occasionally stir the masala but keep the lid covered. add the tomato, potatoes and cook them
- After 10 min of cooking with potatoes, boil 4 cups of water. Add garam masala Cinnamon & Cardamom .fix the pressure cooker lid.
- Cook on high head for 1 whistle and then cook on low heat for about 20 min.
- Open the pressure cooker only after it cools down on its own .
- Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.Serve hot with roti or rice.
