Ingredients:

Preparation:
- Soak the moong dal in the water for 1 hours .Wash them thoroughly & then grind finely & make batter. ( The paste should not b that much fine or do not make it fine paste)
- At first heat the pan. Take water as same as the quantity batter in the pan & add sugar to it.
- Stir the water so that the sugar coagulates with the water then add salt.
- Add the batter to the pan, when the batter gains its consistency add cardamom powder & stir well.
- Now apply a coat of oil on a plate & pour the mixture into it.
- Keep the plate unaltered for 45 minutes so that the mixture hardens & attains the shape of the plate.
- Cut the settled mixture into desired shapes.
- Preheat the oil in a frying pan. Fry the pieces on low flame till they become golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels & serve immediately or at least on the same day.They do keep well for at least 4 days but are best eaten immediately
- Now the Chandrakanti pieces are
ready to serve.
